This is a full day of guest speakers and interactive workshops discussing the role of empathy, compassion, connectedness, culture & kindness for healthier communities.
Speakers include Carolyn Jones who has spent the past five years interviewing more than 150 nurses from every corner of the US in an effort to better understand the role of nurses in this country’s healthcare system. She published the critically-acclaimed book The American Nurse: Photographs and Interviews by Carolyn Jones, for which she was interviewed on PBS News Hour and featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post and USA Today.
Rachel Callander is the other main speaker. Rachel is a TEDx presenter, speaker, trainer, award-winning artist and the author of the Outstanding Book of the Year Award 2015 IPPY New York, Super Power Baby Project. This exceptional book celebrates the lives and abilities of children with chromosomal or genetic conditions and was inspired by Rachel’s late daughter Evie, who was born with a very rare condition herself.
Rachel is a highly sought-after speaker at conferences around Australia and NZ. Her audiences are mostly made up of health professionals, and she speaks about the need to communicate using open-hearted language, especially at diagnosis.
Mix this in with internationally qualified nurse coaches and then topped off with a banquet dinner at night where we get to enjoy beautiful food and converse with like-minded women about what we have learnt and what we will do.
For 2019, please get in touch to reserve a seat.

Soul Food Friday
WellnessThis popular event sells out fast and when you see the food and hear the banter you will know why. Here’s a few photos from the night (not many photos sorry as we were so engaged).
WellnessWe were lucky to get tickets to this show, and accommodation was also at a premium but TRLT got it sorted and as you can see from the photos, we didn’t just go to a rock concert, there were other great experiences too!
WellnessGive yourself a treat and indulge in High Tea! That’s what we told these ladies and did they enjoy the treats. Check the gallery to see some of the highlights.
WellnessThis event was more aligned with my Nurse Coaching and the Art of Discovery, Mindfulness and Purpose was explored within this beautiful authentic space. This was a very unique personal experience, under the Tipi, and the course content was aligned to work from this mindset.
While not really a place to be taking lots of photos, I did capture a few with my ladies.
