Terms & Conditions

The following are the generic Terms and Conditions which form part of the contract (“the Agreement”) you enter into by joining one of our tours.

You will be required to acknowledge and agree as follows:

1. Your completed Booking Form, together with the required non refundable deposit, must be received by The Road Less Travelled Ltd to confirm your place on the Tour Experience.
2. You will be notified when the full balance is payable. Your booking may be considered cancelled if the full balance is not received by that time.
3. You are responsible for ensuring that you are fit and healthy enough to participate in the trip. The Road Less Travelled Ltd reserves the right to insist on medical certification from your Medical Practitioner stating that you are medically and physically fit for your chosen trip. If you suffer from heart, chest, muscular, neurological or respiratory disorders, severe asthma or high blood pressure, or other acute / chronic illness, you must acknowledge and/or should seek qualified specialist medical advice before considering joining the trip.
4. It may become necessary, due to weather, local conditions, politics or various other reasons, to make changes to tour itineraries. Such changes will always be at the sole discretion of The Road Less Travelled Ltd Tour Leader, and no refund will be considered in the event of such changes.
5. The Road Less Travelled Ltd takes no responsibility for any flight delays or schedule changes at any stage throughout the trip. In the event of any such changes no refund will be considered and you must seek recompense through your own travel insurance.
6. The tour costs published within the chosen itinerary are accurate at the time of delivery and The Road Less Travelled Ltd will endeavour to maintain those costs. However, in the event of currency exchange rate fluctuation, increased fuel costs, airport charges, increased airfares or increases in the costs charged by ground operators, The Road Less Travelled Ltd reserves the right to amend its prices up to the date of departure.
7. This Booking Form and “Agreement” is not issued on behalf of any airline, or other carriers however described, and does not constitute any commitment on their behalf in the course of your trip.
8. The tour cost does not include personal travel or medical insurance.
9. Travel insurance is MANDATORY. If you choose to seek alternative insurance from that offered by The Road Less Travelled Ltd (or if you live overseas), you must supply The Road Less Travelled Ltd with a copy of your policy.
10. The tour cost does not include passport or visa charges, licenses, insurance, excess baggage charges, incidental daily expenditure of a personal nature, or any other costs/charges not described or disclosed in the ‘Price Includes’ section of the General Information portion of the tour literature supplied to you by The Road Less Travelled Ltd.
    • a) In consideration of your Booking Form and deposit being accepted, you agree to all of the Terms and Conditions noted and described and assumption of risk (collectively, “this Agreement”).
    • b) You are over 18 years of age and have read, understood and accepted all the above noted and described Terms and Conditions of contract prior to signing this Agreement, and that this Agreement shall be binding.
    • c) You agree to hold valid travel insurance, which covers personal, medical and evacuation costs or expenses however required or described.
