We count the blessings there were no fatalities. The generosity of ordinary people has been overwhelming. Neighbours meeting for the first time helping each other move through this unsettling time.

Today in rural Sth Canterbury the winds are a blowing after a very wet many weeks and it is wonderful to see the sun, have a cuppa outside in a sheltered spot and contemplate how we truly must care for each other and look after our Mother Earth.

Friday sees us women all heading to Wellington for our third WOW experience, kiwis, close encounters and more new culinary delights , arts and crafts to discover. We are all excited and ready to put the glad rags on ))

‘Good Cheese takes Time’

As we work our NuSkin businesses alongside our very full lives, it is pertinent to remember that ‘good cheese does take time’.

This time of development maybe one of many challenges.

We know that learning from these challenges only makes us grow, both in a business and personal sense.

With greater knowledge and experience comes confidence and credibility.

When we experience challenges that seems insurmountable, just remember the old guys from the Mainland Cheese ads,

‘Good Cheese takes Time’ and smile ))

As we move forward in our everyday lives, the ability to be able to evolve and adapt to the different circumstances life throws at us is often a challenge in itself.

Evolving is an exciting time and as we learn new skills, we become stronger, we do things better, either more simply or more complex, or we just move a little bit left or a little bit right.

Evolution is part of who we are, an essential part of life, embrace the changes and celebrate the new knowledge.

For all holds us in good stead for our future wellbeing and those around us.

A couple of days ago I took my 16yr old daughter and her friend snow boarding.

Both new to the sport of snowboards, much of the time was spent on the snow just trying to stand upright.

They battled their tiredness and what seemed like an endless and fruitless journey when towards the end of the day, they got it !!!

Sheer grit and personal determination got those girls to that place of achievement. They were exhilarated ))

They talked between themselves laughing, about perserverence against the odds, knowing that had they not got off the learners slope ,despite the scary thoughts, they would have remained at the beginners slope next time around.

The beginners slope may have ended up being too comfortable and future achievements may have been lost.

For all of us a message and fab lesson on life in business and in leisure.
