Good Cheese take Time

As I was updating my business teams in the  Beauty ,Health and Vitality arena I thought these few words are so pertinent for all of us in our every day lives.:)

‘Good Cheese takes Time’

As we work our NuSkin businesses alongside our very full lives, it is pertinent to remember that ‘good cheese does take time’.

This time of development maybe one of many challenges.

We know that learning from these challenges only makes us grow, both in a business and personal sense.

With greater knowledge and experience comes confidence and credibility.

When we experience challenges that seems insurmountable, just remember the old guys from the Mainland Cheese ads,

‘Good Cheese takes Time’ and smile :) ))

Evolve, Evolution, and Adaptation

As we move forward in our everyday lives, the ability to be able to evolve and adapt to the different circumstances life throws at us is often a challenge in itself.

Evolving is an exciting time and as we learn new skills, we become stronger, we do things better, either more simply or more complex, or we just move a little bit left or a little bit right.

Evolution is part of who we are, an essential part of life, embrace the changes and celebrate the new knowledge.

For all holds us in good stead for our future wellbeing and those around us.

True Grit and Snowboards

A couple of days ago I took my 16yr old daughter and her friend snow boarding.

Both new to the sport of snowboards, much of the time was spent on the snow just trying to stand upright.

They battled their tiredness and what seemed like an endless and fruitless journey when towards the end of the day, they got it !!!

Sheer grit and personal determination got those girls to that place of achievement. They were exhilarated :) ))

They talked between themselves laughing, about perserverence against the odds, knowing that had they not got off the learners slope ,despite the scary thoughts, they would have remained at the beginners slope next time around.

The beginners slope may have ended up being too comfortable and future achievements may have been lost.

For all of us a message and fab lesson on life in business and in leisure.

The Road Less Travelled Logo

When first inspired some years ago, to develop out of the ordinary travel opportunities for women, it was the stories and experiences of others from all walks of life that I loved. These inspiring stories of everyday life gave a sense of history and contribution, a sense of place and a sense of being, both on a personal and collective level.

…… They also gave an affirmative life purpose…

For when one has purpose there is a connectedness that often spans generations.

This connectedness creates vision.

Long term vision is integral to future generations holistic well being, both for individuals, whanau / family, and as local and global communities .

When we recognise the contribution of others and those who came before, only then, as communities, can we move forward in positive and learned ways.

As stories are woven intricately, a balance of life’s finely textured fibres hold our communities together with core values that honor spirit, acceptance, apology, respect and care for others and our environment.

With this in mind, the textures of an old worn Maori ‘kite’ or basket of knowledge still held together by the weavings of old hands felt as one with my inner spirit. It was what I wanted to share on my Road Less Travelled experiences. Often in subtle ways these everyday stories are woven today on these journeys. As each person takes away their own story to share with others, positive ripples go forth and together, positive change occurs at many different levels. As we recognise experience, contribution and age, learnings and wisdom become precious.

Old wise hands created a flax basket that would span the generations and the knowledge it contained, revered.

Go share your stories for all are unique,

Anah :)

July thoughts

Ive just turned 53 on a day that Americans celebrate their Independence day.

I remember my Mum and Dad saying to me when I was a lot younger, that no matter how old we get, we always feel young inside.

I now know absolutely the truth in this as days rocket past and I check my bucket list.

Go girls go, make the most of all days and all opportunities.

There is always treats and connections at each turn if we open our eyes to each moment.

To all birthday girls in July, have a very fab one :) ))))
