Things to know about my diary/blog below;

First of all, when I use the term 'girls' ( I love to keep us all 'young' by this term) I mean any girls, doesn't matter whether young or in the autumn of their lives, these journeys for women, I believe, are ageless and boundless. Its not the age of a woman but her 'being', that makes these trips special.

Women who want to have a fun time, wish to step out of their comfort zone and are prepared to go with the flow, are the ones who join me. All types of good women have joined me in the past.

One year a wonderful woman in her 70's joined me in Bali. The thing, I think that attracts women, is the deeper picture and the ability to go with the flow that develops......... you can read more about my tours' points of difference and philosophies here , what other women thought here, or read all about my coming adventures and the latest tours below.

Legends Cafe – Pleasant Point

Filed under: Girls Club — @ 12:12 pm

Magical Moments: A huge thank you to ‘Legends Cafe’ Pleasant Point. The Girls Club evening was a treat for all of us.

From the delicious fruit punch to the beautifully presented ‘girls’ food. To the smiling staff, the cosy, inviting decor, and the ambient heat from the fires. Always good for the soul.

Thank you to Rachel for the beautiful smile and the incredible work in organising the girls evening.

Thank you to the young people, Hazel, Cameron and Maya, who shared their musical talents with us.
It is such a great thing to see young adults stepping out of their comfort zones to become the best that they can be. And to Karen, for a bit of Abba, ‘I had a dream’ and guitar accompaniment.

Thank you to all the Girls who joined in our evening.

‘The Girls Club’ as a part of ‘The Road Less Travelled’, began as an idea to get women connecting with others in a fun and relaxed environment. Whether travel is on your mind or just meeting others, it is a wonderful place to meet other women and enjoy girls company.

The Girls Club is totally informal and all women from all walks of life, are invited. At this stage due to location, our catch ups are Sth Canterbury based. In the future, as I travel around, I do intend having ‘girls catch ups’ around the country, so you are most welcome to join us where ever you are.

Thankyou to Road Less Travelled Women

To all the Road Less Travelled Women,
Thank you for being on my database for my ‘Out of the Ordinary Travel Experiences for Women’.
Whether you are keen to travel or just enjoy receiving the updates, its neat to have you at the end of my emails. I purposely do not regularly send images on my emails, to enable those of you on dial up, to recieve aok.
Many women tell me they love reading the updates, even if travel is not on their agenda at this stage.
For me, my travel experiences are just not about travel but the wonderful sharing experiences we have as women. When we travel with other women from all different walks of life and share time, I believe it consolidates and strengthens who we are as individuals and in turn, we can play it forward and make someone elses experience, a great one.
——————————————————————————–
For those of you keen on travelling with other fab women, whether it be in Aotearoa or Overseas, I would love your feedback and any ideas. I am happy to customise for small groups if you wish to travel away with some girl friends, or travel with others. Check out my website and see whats coming up.
Until next time,
Let our voices go with the wind and enjoy the magic of this moment,
Anah

To all Girls of the ‘Girls Club’

Filed under: Girls Club — @ 11:35 am

Well it’s catch up time again after our last Rendezvous at The Sth Canterbury Club on 29th May. My how times fly as our individual lives keep us engaged, busy and active.

This time we head to ‘Legends’ at Pleasant Point previously known as Denheath House. Fab woman, Rachel Trumper, along with Legends owner, Steve, welcomes us to Point. ‘Legends’ is new on the Sth Canterbury cafe scene and its decor, scrummy food and drinks is a wonderful testament to Rachel’s interior design skills and passion for great food and service.

Steve’s passion for things old and memorablia from Pleasant Point honour those fine people of Pleasant Point who have contributed in many ways to their community….hence the name ‘Legends’.

You will not need to look far for artwork as Rachel’s paintings create a beautiful sense of space and you will love the range of instruments, all in tune, should you wish to dabble in some musicianship of your own.

Legends is not yet licensed, however we will be treated with a delicious punch courtesy of Legends. Scrummy Nibbles will be provided at a cost of $15.00 per head and you will be able to purchase hot and cold non alcoholic drinks from the service area.

To all the new girls, you are most welcome to join us for some good woman time, conversation and laughs. Please contact me as soon as possible with your confirmations for catering purposes, and also, if you wish to car pool from Timaru.

LEGENDS CAFE- Pleasant Point
5.30pm Thursday 7th August.

Looking forward once again to seeing you all
Here’s to all you girls for being just you.
Anah :)
